The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series visited Martinsville Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the NFPA 200. JR Motorsports were on the front row with Justin Allgaier on the pole and Rajah Caruth starting second.
The race saw a total of 14 lead changes and 14 cautions. Among the cautions happened late in the race on a restart when Lee Pulliam missed a shift and caused a huge pileup behind. A total of 19 cars were involved, including Brandon Jones, Jeb Burton, Carson Kvapil, and Austin Green. The race was red-flagged with 16 laps to go.
Justin Allgaier dominated the race, winning the first stage and leading 114 of 250 laps to win his third race of the season over Corey Day. It was Allgaier’s third win this season, and the 31st of his O’Reilly Auto Parts Series career.
Sammy Smith, Sheldon Creed, and Lee Pulliam rounded out the top five. Austin Hill, who won Stage 2, finished in sixth place. Dean Thompson, Ross Chastain, Ryan Sieg, and Brent Crews completed the top ten. Check out the rest of the finishing order here.
