The Berlin Thunder of the American Football League signed defensive back Kessawn Abraham on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Kessawn Abraham is five foot eleven and weighs 195 pounds. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Abraham played for the Ohio Valley Ironmen of the International Football Alliance in 2025. Abraham had signed with the Madrid Bravos of the European Football Alliance on March 4, 2026, but six days later, the team announced they would not play in the 2026 season, making him a free agent.

Collegiately, Abraham spent six seasons at Rutgers (2018-23) with 64 tackles (43 solos, 21 assists), four tackles for loss, and 10 pass breakups in 51 games for the Scarlet Knights. In 2021, he was named First Team All-Big 10 by Pro Football Focus after finishing the season with a career-high 44 tackles (32 solos, 12 assists), three tackles for loss, and nine pass breakups in 13 games.
