The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed defensive lineman Brandon Brown on Monday.
Brandon Brown is six foot two and weighs 320 pounds. The 24-year-old from Katy, Texas, began his collegiate career at Tulane (2020-21), where he made one tackle (1 solo) in one game for the Green Wave.
Then, he transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio (2021-24) with 93 tackles (46 solos, 47 assists), 22.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 54 games for the Roadrunners. In 2024, he had a career-high 29 tackles (15 solos, 14 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks in 13 games.
Brown was named First Team All-Conference USA in 2022, Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2021, and a two-time Third Team All-Conference USA (2023-24).
