The NTT IndyCar Series held the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington on Sunday on the streets of Arlington, Texas. The race was moved up by an hour due to severe storms heading into the area. Marcus Ericsson started the race on the pole, with Alex Palou starting second.

Ericsson led the opening 16 laps before he and Alex Palou both made pit stops. During the pit stop, Ericsson’s crew had issues with the air gun, allowing Palou to get ahead of them. Will Power led five laps, and Felix Rosenqvist led a lap before Palou would take the lead on lap 22.

After lap 28, Palou went to pit road. Felix Rosenqvist took the lead and led six laps before making his pit stop, and Will Power led 11 laps before he made his scheduled pit stop. Palou would retake the lead on lap 46. Late in the race, everyone made their final scheduled pit stops. Alex Palou was leading with Kyle Kirkwood running him down. On lap 55, Kirkwood made a diving pass at Turn 13 to take the lead.

With three laps to go, Christian Rasmussen’s car was stopped at Turn 2 to bring out the first caution. The race resumed with two laps to go. The race would come to an end after Nolan Siegel and Romain Grosjean made contact at Turn 2, and the race ended under caution. Kyle Kirkwood won his first race of the season. It was Kirkwood’s sixth career win, and he is the new championship leader.

Alex Palou, Will Power, Marcus Ericsson, and Pato O’Ward rounded out the top five. David Malukas, Christian Lundgaard, Scott Dixon, Alexander Rossi, and Marcus Armstrong completed the top ten. Check out the rest of the standings here.

The NTT IndyCar Series returns in two weeks from Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 1 pm on Fox.
