The Orlando Storm signed defensive end Chris Collins and placed offensive lineman Teton Saltes on the retired list on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Chris Collins is six foot five and weighs 255 pounds. The 26-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2024. In 2024, he made eight tackles (7 solos, 1 assist), one sack, and one quarterback hit in three preseason games. He was placed on injured reserve before the Chargers released him on May 9, 2025.

Collegiately, Collins spent five seasons at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2018-22) with 69 tackles (34 solos, 35 assists), 11 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 47 games for the Tar Heels. In 2021, he had a career-high 29 tackles (14 solos, 15 assists), five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 12 games.

Then, he transferred to the University of Minnesota in 2023 with 18 tackles (9 solos, 9 assists), one interception, and one fumble recovery in 12 games for the Gophers.

Teton Saltes is six foot four and weighs 300 pounds. The 27-year-old from Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, was drafted by the Orlando Storm in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The New York Jets signed Saltes as an undrafted free agent in 2021. In 2022, the Michigan Panthers drafted Saltes in the sixth round (46th pick). He played eight games, of which seven were starts for the Panthers.

The Arlington Renegades drafted Saltes in the first round (3rd pick) of the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft. In 2023, he played one game for the Arlington Renegades (XFL) when the Renegades won the XFL Championship over the D.C. Defenders.

The Renegades released Saltes on March 10, 2024. Then, Saltes signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on March 18, 2024. He did not play for the Battlehawks in 2024. The Battlehawks re-signed Saltes on August 5, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025. The Battlehawks re-signed Saltes on May 8, 2025. In 2025, he started one game.

Collegiately, Saltes played four seasons at New Mexico State (2017-20), playing right tackle in 35 games, of which 32 were starts for the Lobos. In 2019, Saltes played 819 snaps, the second-most of any Lobo on the offensive side of the ball. In 2020, Saltes won the Wuerffel Trophy for community service with athletic and academic achievement.
