The Wroclaw Panthers of the American Football League Europe signed defensive back Torey Richardson on Friday.
Torey Richardson is six foot one and weighs 185 pounds. A native of Tomball, Texas, Richardson began his collegiate career at the University of Houston (2018-19). He did not play in 2018 and in 2019 made two tackles (2 solos) in three games for the Cougars.
Next, he transferred to Blinn College. In the spring 2021 season, Richardson made 20 tackles (16 solos, 4 assists) and three pass breakups in six games for the Buccaneers. Then, he transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso (2021-23) with 59 tackles (43 solos, 16 assists), five tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, 18 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 25 games for the Miners.
In 2023, he had a career-high 33 tackles (23 solos, 10 assists), three tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception, nine pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 12 games.
Richardson concluded his collegiate career at Temple University in 2024 with 23 tackles (22 solos, 1 assist), one tackle for loss, one interception, and four pass breakups in 10 games for the Owls.
