The Montreal Alouettes re-signed wide receiver Sean Ryan on Monday.
Sean Ryan is six foot three and weighs 200 pounds. The 27-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on March 31, 2025. He was placed on the league suspension list on May 11, 2025.
The Baltimore Ravens signed Ryan as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. In 2023, he made five catches for 46 yards in two preseason games. He spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. The Ravens re-signed him on January 29, 2024. In 2024, he made one catch for eight yards in three preseason games. The Ravens released him on August 26, 2024.
Collegiately, Ryan played one season at Temple in 2018 with 12 catches for 162 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 11 games for the Owls. Next, he transferred to West Virginia (2019-21) with 69 catches for 882 yards, three touchdowns, two carries for 26 yards, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 30 games for the Mountaineers.
Then, he transferred to Rutgers in 2022 with 26 catches for 440 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games for the Scarlet Knights. He was named Second Team Academic All-Big 10.
