The NASCAR Cup Series concluded the weekend at EchoPark Speedway (former Atlanta Motor Speedway) on Sunday afternoon in the Autotrader 400. Tyler Reddick started the race on the pole with Joey Logano starting second.
Tyler Reddick was involved in a final-stage wreck that also included Denny Hamlin, AJ Allmendinger, Chris Buescher, Joey Logano, William Byron, Alex Bowman, Michael McDowell, and Zilisch on lap 224. There were ten cautions for 67 laps.
The other notable crashes that happened were Kyle Larson making contact with Shane van Gisbergen near the end of stage two, and William Byron scraped the wall with three laps to go and made contact with Austin Cindric, which triggered an 11-car crash at the end of the backstretch that sent the race to overtime.
Despite having damage on the front right side of his car, Reddick was able stay in the race. He led a race-high 53 of 271 laps to win the race in the second overtime by 0.164 seconds over Chase Briscoe.
It gave Reddick his second-straight win to start the 2026 season. He became the first driver since Matt Kennseth to win the opening two races to start a season. Ross Chastain, Carson Hocevar, and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top five. Shane van Gisbergen, Zane Smith, Bubba Wallace, Ryan Preece, and Ryan Blaney completed the top ten.
The Cup Series heads to the Circuit of Americas next Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 3:30 pm on Fox.
