The Repco Supercars Championship concluded the DUNLOP Sydney 500 weekend on Sunday afternoon with Race 3 from a hot and humid Sydney Motorsports Park. Broc Feeney won the pole, and Kai Allen started second.

Allen got a slight head start on Feeney when the lights went out, only for Feeney shut the door at Turn 2 to keep the lead. Behind them, both Ryan Wood and Brodie Kostecki gained six spots on the first lap.

Feeney led the opening 16 laps before coming to pit road. He was dealing with a cool suit failure. James Golding briefly had the lead and pitted two stops after Feeney went to pit road. Mother Nature became a factor later on in the race when rain began to fall on the racetrack, and some of the teams went to pit road for wet tires.

The rain would clear, and the blue skies would come right back out. Later in the race, Will Brown turned Brodie Kostecki, who then hit Anton De Pasquale. Brown was issued a 15-second time penalty. Late in the race, Kai Allen was chasing Broc Feeney. He was getting closer to Feeney with eight laps to go.

Unfortunately, he ran out of time as Broc Feeney took his second win of the season by 2.898 seconds over Kai Allen. Cameron Waters, Chaz Mostert, and Ryan Wood rounded out the top five. Jack Le Brocq, Cameron Hill, Thomas Randle, Andre Heimgartner, and Macauley Jones completed the top ten.

The Repco Supercars Championship heads to the Melbourne SuperSprint from March 5-8 at Albert Park Circuit for the Australian Grand Prix.
