The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series visited EchoPark Speedway (former Atlanta Motor Speedway) on Saturday night in the Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250. Sam Mayer started the race on the pole, and Carson Kvapil started second.
Jesse Love won the first stage, and Rajah Caruth won the second stage. There were seven cautions for 46 laps, and 24 lead changes. On lap 106, Corey Day and Carson Kvapil were battling for the lead when they made contact in Turn 3, causing a three-car crash that also involved Justin Allgaier. The other drivers who were also involved in crashes were Ryan Sieg, Kyle Sieg, Harrison Burton, Josh Williams, and Lavar Scott.
Austin Hill was leading the race heading into the final lap. At Turn 3, Ross Chastain went inside, and Hill blocked him, causing Chastain to send Hill off the track. Hill managed to get the car back under control. However, Sheldon Creed, who was in third place at the time of the contact, took the lead and won his first-career O’Reilly Auto Parts Series win by 0.309 seconds over Parker Retzlaff. Creed led 17 of 162 laps. Austin Hill led a race-high 34 laps.
This was Creed’s 138th-career O’Reilly Auto Parts start, and he had 15-runner up finishes before getting his first win. Nick Sanchez, Corey Day, and Jesse Love rounded out the top five. Ross Chastain, Sam Mayer, Rajah Caruth, Taylor Gray, and Brandon Jones completed the top ten.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series heads to the Circuit of Americas next Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 3 pm on The CW.
