The Montreal Alouettes signed offensive lineman Arlington Hambright and defensive back Derrick Langford Jr. on Thursday.

Arlington Hambright is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds. The 30-year-old from Ypsilanti, Michigan, was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round (226th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, and the Tennessee Titans, playing 88 snaps in 15-career NFL games, of which was a start.

Collegiately, Hambright spent two seasons at Garden City Community College (2015-16), playing 22 games for the Broncbusters. In 2016, Garden City averaged 349.7 yards per game, 154.9 passing yards per game, 194.8 rushing yards per game, and 35 touchdowns to finish the season 11-0 and won the NJCAA National Championship.

Next, he transferred to Oklahoma State (2017-18), playing six games for the Cowboys in 2018 before an injury ended his season. In the six games he played, Oklahoma State averaged 43.3 points per game, 537.8 yards per game, 317.2 passing yards per game, and 220.7 rushing yards per game.

Then, he transferred to Colorado in 2019, starting 12 games for the Buffaloes. Colorado averaged 23.5 points per game, 388.5 yards per game, 238.2 passing yards per game, 150.3 rushing yards per game, and 33 touchdowns.

Derrick Langford Jr. is six foot one and weighs 205 pounds. The 26-year-old from Richmond, California, re-signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on August 27, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025. The Brahmas re-signed him on April 10, 2025. In 2025, he made seven tackles (6 solos, 1 assist) and three pass breakups in five games. The Brahams released him on May 19, 2025.

The New York Jets signed Langford Jr. as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He played three preseason games with 8 tackles (7 solos, 1 assist) and two pass breakups.

Next, Langford Jr. signed with the New Jersey Generals on October 31, 2023. Langford Jr. became a free agent after the Generals were not included in the USFL and XFL merger that formed the United Football League (UFL). Langford signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on May 16, 2024. In 2024, Langford made two tackles (2 solos) in one game.

Collegiately, Langford Jr. played one season at San Francisco Community College in 2018 with 30 tackles (25 solos, 5 assists), one interception, and four pass breakups in 11 games for the Rams.

Then, Langford Jr. transferred to Washington State (2019-22) with 91 tackles (60 solos, 31 assists), one tackle for loss, four interceptions for 71 yards, one touchdown, 17 pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 39 games for the Cougars.
