The Edmonton Elks signed defensive back Ladarius Tennison on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Ladarius Tennison is five foot ten and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Rockledge, Florida, signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Tennison made one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. The Colts released him on August 26, 2025.
Collegiately, Tennison spent two seasons at Auburn (2020-21) with 43 tackles (28 solos, 15 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, and one kick return for four yards in 23 games for the Tigers.
Next, he transferred to Ole Miss (2022-23) with 94 tackles (55 solos, 39 assists), 13.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two pass breakups, fumble recoveries, one touchdown, and one kick return for seven yards in 26 games for the Rebels. In 2022, he had a career-high 54 tackles (29 solos, 25 assists), 10 tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown in 13 games.
Then, he transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2024 with 32 tackles (21 solos, 11 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception, two pass breakups, and four kick returns for 62 yards in 11 games for the Knights.
