The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Jaison Williams on Friday.
Jaison Williams is six foot four and weighs 320 pounds. A native of Trotwood, Ohio, Williams signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Williams played in three preseason games. The Giants released him on August 22, 2025.
Collegiately, Williams spent six seasons at Youngstown State University (2019-24), playing left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle in 52 games for the Penguins.
In 2024, Williams was named Second Team All-MVFC and Third Team All-American by FCS Central after starting 12 games at right tackle and allowing one sack, while posting a 98% Pass Pro Efficiency. Youngstown State averaged 27.4 points per game, 382.3 yards per game, 180.5 passing yards per game, 201.8 rushing yards per game, and 41 touchdowns.
In 2023, he was named Second Team All-MVFC after starting 13 games at right tackle. Youngstown State averaged 32 points per game, 410.2 yards per game, 245.9 passing yards per game, 164.4 rushing yards per game, and 52 touchdowns. Williams would later be named the MVFC Offensive Player of the Year. Williams was also named a two-time All-MVFC Honorable Mention in 2021 and 2022.
