The Houston Gamblers signed wide receiver Jalen Moreno-Cropper on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Jalen Moreno-Cropper is six foot and weighs 172 pounds. The 24-year-old from Parlier, California, signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made three catches for 35 yards in three preseason games. In 2024, he made five catches for 32 yards, one carry for seven yards, one kickoff return for 24 yards, and two punt returns for 17 yards in three preseason games. Moreno-Cropper dressed for one regular-season game.
In 2025, he made three catches for 17 yards, one carry for four yards, five kick returns for 133 yards, three punt returns for 24 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. He spent the season on the practice squad.
Collegiately, Moreno-Cooper spent four seasons at Frenso State (2018-22) with 220 catches for 2,701 yards, 21 touchdowns, 50 carries for 465 yards, five rushing touchdowns, 14 kick returns for 297 yards, completing 2 of 3 passes (66.7%) for 87 yards, two touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 43 games for the Bulldogs. He was named an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2020, Second Team All-Mountain West in 2021, and First Team All-Mountain West in 2022.
