The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed offensive lineman Jarell Broxton to a two-year contract, wide receiver Tommy Nield to a two-year contract, linebacker Jovan Santos-Knox to a one-year contract, and defensive back Jonathan Moxey to a two-year contract on Tuesday.

Jarell Broxton is six foot three and weighs 230 pounds. The 32-year-old from Olney, Maryland, started at left tackle in 16 games for the B.C. Lions allowed 15 pressures. B.C.’s offense averaged 29.8 points per game, 430.2 net offense per game, 113.4 rushing yards per game, 325.4 passing yards per game, 59 touchdowns, and allowed 20 sacks. He was named a CFL West All-Star and the All-CFL Team in 2025.

The Baltimore Ravens signed Broxton as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2016. He spent two seasons on and off the practice squad. The Ravens released him on September 1, 2017. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Broxton on February 3, 2020, but the season was cancelled, and they released him on June 26, 2020.

The B.C. Lions signed Broxton on May 11, 2021. He played four games in his first two seasons. In 2023, he started 17 games. B.C.’s offense averaged 24.9 points per game, 364.0 net offense per game, 101 yards per game, 283.3 passing yards per game, 42 touchdowns, and allowed 43 sacks.

In 2025, he made 42 catches for 535 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games. In the Grey Cup playoffs, Nield made six catches for 75 yards and one touchdown. He caught a game-winning touchdown against the B.C. Lions in the Western Semi-Final.

The Toronto Argonauts drafted Nield in the fourth round (30th pick) of the 2021 CFL Draft. In four seasons with Toronto, Nield made 63 catches for 776 yards, two touchdowns, one carry for no yards, and one kick return for no yards in 26 games.

In 2025, he made 21 catches for 2101 yards and one touchdown in 11 games for the Argonauts in 2024. He missed most of the 2024 season with a hand injury. The Argonauts released him on February 3, 2025.

Collegiately, Nield played three seasons at McMaster University (2017-19) with 102 catches for 1,618 yards, ten touchdowns, and two kick returns for seven yards in 28 games for the Marauders.

Jovan Santos-Knox is six foot two and weighs 233 pounds. The 31-year-old from Waterbury, Connecticut, re-signed with the Redblacks on January 28, 2025. In 2025, he made 80 tackles and one interception in 18 games. Ottawa named him the team’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player. The Redblacks released him on January 30, 2026.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Santos-Knox on June 18, 2017. He played two seasons in Winnipeg with 129 tackles, 20 tackles on special teams, eight sacks, and two interceptions in 34 games, of which 26 were starts. Next, he signed with the Edmonton Eskimos (now Elks) on February 13, 2019. In 2019, he made 13 tackles, one tackle on special teams, and one sack in three games, of which two were starts.

The Ottawa Redblacks signed Santos-Knox as a free agent on February 7, 2023. He missed six games of the 2023 season due to an ankle injury but finished the season making 64 tackles and three sacks in 12 games. In 2024, he made 65 tackles, two sacks, and one interception in 12 games. He missed six games in 2024 due to a knee injury.

Collegiately, Santos-Knox played four seasons at the University of Massachusetts (2012-15) with 338 tackles (117 solos, 338 assists), 24.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 46 games for the Minutemen.

Jonathan Moxey is five foot ten and weighs 197 pounds. The 30-year-old from West Palm Beach, Florida, re-signed with the Tiger-Cats on February 8, 2025. In 2025, he made 40 tackles, one tackle on special teams, three interceptions, and one forced fumble in 18 games.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Moxey as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2017. In 2017, he made eight tackles (8 solos) in four preseason games. The Buccaneers released him on September 19, 2017. Next, the Arizona Cardinals signed Moxey on January 2, 2018. In 2018, he made one tackle (1 solo) in one preseason game. The Cardinals released him on May 10, 2019.

The Calgary Stampeders signed Moxey on June 24, 2019. Moxey played four seasons in Calgary with 70 tackles, 8 tackles on special teams, and three interceptions in 50 games. Moxey was named a CFL West All-Star in 2022 after making 26 tackles and two tackles on special teams.

In 2023, he made 18 tackles and one interception in 16 games. The Stampeders released Moxey on May 3, 2024. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Moxey on June 3, 2024. In 2024, he made 22 tackles, one tackle on special teams, one sack, and two interceptions in 14 games.

Collegiately, Moxey played four seasons at Boise State (2013-16) with 134 tackles (109 solos, 25 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, 34 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 12 kick returns for 258 yards, and one punt return for nine yards in 52 games for the Broncos.

In his final season, Moxey had 50 tackles (43 solos, 7 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, 13 pass breakups, one punt return for nine yards, and 12 kick returns for 258 yards in 13 games. In 2016, he was named Second Team All-Mountain West Conference.
