The Saskatchewan Roughriders released offensive lineman Julius Buelow on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Julius Buelow is six foot eight and weighs 315 pounds. The 25-year-old from Kapolei, Hawaii, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Buelow on April 30, 2025. He was placed on the suspended list on May 14, 2025, and did not see any action.

Collegiately, Buelow played four seasons at Washington (2020-23), playing left guard in 31 games for the Huskies. In 2023, Washington averaged 36 points per game, 118.4 rushing yards per game, 343.67 passing yards per game, 462.1 total yards per game, 69 touchdowns, and allowed 12 sacks, finishing 14-1 for the season.

The Huskies appeared in the CFP National Championship game against Michigan. Washington’s offensive line won the 2023 Joe Moore Award, presented annually to the top offensive line unit in college football.

Then, he transferred to Ole Miss in 2024, playing 13 games, of which nine were starts, including six at right guard, two at right tackle, and one at left guard for the Rebels. In 2024, Ole Miss averaged 38.62 points per game, 175.8 rushing yards per game, 350.85 passing yards per game, 526.6 total yards per game, 62 touchdowns, and allowed 29 sacks, finishing 10-3, winning the Gator Bowl over Duke.
