The Montreal Alouettes signed quarterback Dustin Crum, wide receiver Jerreth Sterns, and offensive lineman Braydon Noll to one-year contracts on Tuesday.
Dustin Crum is six foot one and weighs 210 pounds. The 27-year-old from Grafton, Ohio, re-signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on January 20, 2025. In 2025, he completed 166 of 234 passes (70.9%) for 1,771 yards, six touchdowns, two interceptions, 78 carries for 429 yards, and 11 rushing touchdowns in 18 games.
The Kansas City Chiefs signed Crum as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2022. In 2022, he completed 10 of 15 passes (66.7%) for 56 yards and six carries for 25 yards in three preseason games. The Chiefs released him on August 27, 2022.
The Ottawa Redblacks signed Crum on September 6, 2022, and he spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. In 2023, he completed 266 of 385 passes (69%) for 3,109 yards, 10 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 97 carries for 741 yards, and nine touchdowns in 18 games.
In 2024, he completed 31 of 45 passes (68%) for 320 yards, two interceptions, 39 carries for 206 yards, and seven touchdowns in 18 games.
Collegiately, Crum played five seasons at Kent State (2017-21), completing 576 of 864 (67%) for 7,401 yards, 55 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 477 carries for 2,071 yards, 24 touchdowns, punted the ball three times for 62 yards (20.7 AVG), and one tackle (1 solo) in 50 games for the Golden Flashes.
In the 2019 Frisco Bowl, Crum completed 21 of 26 (81%) for 289 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Golden Flashes beat the Utah State Aggies 51-41. Crum was named Frisco Bowl MVP. He was also named First Team All-MAC in 2020.
Jerreth Sterns is five foot nine and weighs 195 pounds. The 26-year-old from Waxahachie, Texas, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on February 11, 2025. In 2025, he made 48 catches for 530 yards, four touchdowns, and one carry for five yards in 14 games. In the Eastern Semi-Final against the Montreal Alouettes, Sterns made four catches for 59 yards.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Sterns as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In 2022, he made six catches for 64 yards in three preseason games. The Buccaneers released him on August 30, 2022. Next, he signed with the Los Angeles Rams on December 22, 2022. The Rams released him on March 23, 2023.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 3, 2023. In 2023, he made 44 catches for 449 yards, one touchdown, two kick returns for 36 yards, and one tackle in 11 games. In 2024, he made 39 catches for 492 yards, two touchdowns, six kick returns for 132 yards, and one tackle in 12 games.
Collegiately, Sterns began at Houston Baptist University (2018-20) with 220 catches for 1,971 yards, 73 receiving yards per game, 18 touchdowns, 23 carries for 56 yards, two touchdowns, and 31 punt returns for 177 yards in 27 games for the Huskies. He also took snaps at quarterback, completing 4 of 7 passes (57%) for 110 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
He was named Third Team All-Southland Conference, Southland Conference All-Academic Honors in 2019, and All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention in 2018.
Then, Sterns transferred to Western Kentucky in 2021 with 150 catches for 1,902 yards, 135.9 receiving yards per game, 17 touchdowns, five carries for 17 yards, and 13 punt returns for 70 yards in 14 games for the Hilltoppers. He was named First Team All-CUSA and Newcomer of the Year.
Braydon Noll is six foot six and weighs 297 pounds. The 28-year-old from Orangeville, Ontario, re-signed with the Roughriders on November 19, 2024. In 2025, Noll appeared in 11 games. Saskatchewan’s offense averaged 24.8 points per game, 382.6 average net offense per game, 103.8 rushing yards per game, 289.2 passing yards per game, 45 touchdowns, and allowed 26 sacks, as the Roughriders went on to win the 112th Grey Cup over the Montreal Alouettes.
The Argonauts drafted Noll in the fourth round (35th pick) in the 2022 CFL Draft. Noll played one game for the Argonauts against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on August 6, 2022.
Noll played three games as a backup for the Argonauts in 2023. Noll appeared in two preseason games for the Toronto Argonauts in 2024. The Argos released him on June 2, 2024. The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Noll on August 5, 2024. He appeared in four games for the Roughriders in 2024. The Roughriders released him on November 10, 2024.
Collegiately, Noll played 23 games in five seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University (2016-21), playing every position on the offensive line. He started as a defensive lineman before moving to the offensive line in his second year. In addition, he attended Trinity College before transferring to Wilfrid Laurier.
