The Houston Gamblers signed defensive back Roman Parodie and released wide receiver Monaray Baldwin and linebacker Toby Ndukwe on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Roman Parodie is six foot two and weighs 204 pounds. The 23-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist), one interception for 39 yards, one touchdown, and one pass breakup in two preseason games.
Collegiately, Parodie spent five seasons at Ohio (2020-24) with 124 tackles (75 solos, 49 assists), four tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions for nine yards, 28 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and four fumble recoveries in 51 games for the Bobcats. In 2024, he had a career-high 51 tackles (29 solos, 22 assists), one interception for 13 yards, 12 pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 13 games.
Parodie attended Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he finished his career with 43 tackles (19 solos, 24 assists), 21 pass breakups, seven interceptions, and two blocked field goals. He helped the Chiefs finish 10-3, winning the district title and reaching the third round of the playoffs. He also competed in track & field.
Monaray Baldwin is five foot nine and weighs 170 pounds. The 23-year-old from Killen, Texas, was drafted by the Houston Gamblers in the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Miami Dolphins signed Baldwin as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he played in one preseason game. The Dolphins released him on August 12, 2025.
Collegiately, Baldwin spent four seasons at Baylor (2021-24) with 99 catches for 1,673 yards, 13 touchdowns, 19 carries for 178 yards, two rushing touchdowns, 11 kick returns for 195 yards, and one punt return for -2 yards in 44 games for the Bears.
In 2023, he had a career-high 38 catches for 623 yards, four touchdowns, and three carries for 17 yards in 12 games. In his final season, Baldwin made 27 catches for 478 yards, five touchdowns, and three carries for three yards in 13 games.
Toby Ndukwe is six foot one and weighs 236 pounds. The 26-year-old from Richmond, Texas, was drafted by the Houston Gamblers in the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Ndukwe as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He played three preseason games with five tackles (5 solo) and one sack for the Steelers.
The Calgary Stampeders signed Ndukwe on September 26, 2023, and he was placed on the practice squad. He played in one game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with one tackle and one tackle on special teams.
In the 2024 preseason, Ndukwe made one tackle and two tackles on special teams in two games, earning himself a spot on the practice squad. The Stampeders released him on June 25, 2024.
The San Antonio Brahmas signed Ndukwe on August 27, 2024. In 2025, Ndukwe made one tackle (1 solo) and one tackle for loss in two games. The Brahmas released him on April 9, 2025.
Collegiately, Ndukwe played four seasons at Southern Methodist University (2018-21) with 26 tackles (12 solos, 14 assists), six tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Mustangs.
Then, he transferred to Sam Houston State in 2022 with 28 tackles (16 solos, 12 assists), nine tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception for nine yards, and three pass breakups in eight games for the Bearkats.
