The Columbus Aviators signed quarterback Aiden Sayin, tight end Camren McDonald, and defensive back Henry Black on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Aiden Sayin is six foot two and weighs 200 pounds. A native of Carlsbad, California, Sayin spent four seasons at the University of Penn (2021-24), completing 719 of 1,151 passes (62%) for 7,177 yards, 45 touchdowns, 31 interceptions, 134 carries for 14 yards, four rushing touchdowns, two catches for 39 yards, three punts for 105 yards (35.0 AVG), one touchback, and two from the 20-yard line in 31 games for the Quakers.
In 2023, he completed a career-high 278 of 430 passes (65%) for 2,805 yards, 16 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 43 carries for 34 yards, one catch for 13 yards, and punted the ball two times for 74 yards (37.0 AVG), one touchback, and one from inside the 20-yard line in 10 games.
In 2024, he completed 100 of 168 passes (60%) for 1,108 yards, six touchdowns, five interceptions, 20 carries for 16 yards, and two rushing touchdowns in six games. He was named a two-time Ivy League Honorable Mention. Sayin ended his collegiate career as the team’s all-time leader in completions (719) and second in passing yards (7,177).
Camren McDonald is six foot four and weighs 245 pounds. The 26-year-old from Long Beach, California, re-signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 5, 2025. In 2025, he played in two preseason games. The Tiger-Cats released him on May 31, 2025. He had previously signed with the Houston Roughnecks on October 27, 2025.
The Green Bay Packers signed McDonald as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023, but he was released on August 1, 2023. McDonald signed with the Los Angeles Rams on August 5, 2023, appearing in three preseason games with no stats.
The Rams released him on August 28, 2023. Then, McDonald signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on April 26, 2024. McDonald attended Hamilton’s training camp before he was released on June 1, 2024.
McDonald re-signed with the Tiger-Cats on June 19, 2024. He made two catches for 11 yards in two games before he was transferred back to the practice squad. Hamilton released him on September 25, 2024. He re-signed with the Ticats on September 30, 2024. The Ticats released him again on October 3, 2024.
Collegiately, McDonald played five seasons at Florida State (2018-22) with 74 catches for 861 yards, five touchdowns, two yards rushing, and seven tackles (7 solo) in 58 games for the Seminoles. In his senior season, McDonald made 21 catches for 312 yards and one touchdown in 13 games.
In 2021, McDonald made a career-high 24 catches for 243 yards, two touchdowns, two rushing yards, and three tackles (3 solos) in 12 games. He was named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, winner of the Bill McGrotha Award, a Seminole Scholar, a Wuerffel Trophy nominee, and was on the Mackey Award Watch List.
Henry Black is six foot and weighs 204 pounds. The 29-year-old from Shreveport, Louisiana, was released by the Aviators on January 23, 2026.
The Green Bay Packers signed Black as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2020. He played two seasons in Green Bay with 46 tackles (34 solos, 12 assists), two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 25 games. He became a free agent after the 2021 season.
Black also spent time with the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons. The Indianapolis Colts signed Black on September 13, 2022. In 2023, he played three preseason games for the Colts with 13 tackles (8 solos, 5 assists). The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Black off of Indianapolis’s practice squad on November 21, 2023, and he returned to Indianapolis on December 26, 2023.
The San Antonio Brahmas signed Black on October 8, 2024. In 2025, he made 21 tackles (12 solos, 9 assists) and two tackles for loss in 10 games. The Brahmas released him on July 31, 2025, and he signed with the Atlanta Falcons on the same day. Black made nine tackles (4 solos, 5 assists) and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 26, 2025. The Columbus Aviators drafted Black in the 2026 UFL Draft.
Collegiately, Black played four seasons at Baylor (2016-19) with 119 tackles (77 solos, 42 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions for 20 yards, six pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 52 games for the Bears.
