The Louisville Kings signed linebacker Nick Kubitz on Saturday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Nick Kubitz is six foot three and weighs 229 pounds. The 25-year-old from Dubuque, Iowa, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made 12 tackles (4 solos, 8 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 23, 2025.

Collegiately, Kubitz spent six seasons at North Dakota State University (2019-24) with 210 tackles (108 solos, 102 assists), 14 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions for 17 yards, 13 pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 67 games for the Bisons.

In 2022, he made a career-high 68 tackles (31 solos, 37 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, and five pass breakups in 15 games. In his final collegiate season in 2024, he made 55 tackles (31 solos, 24 assists), four tackles for loss, one interception, five pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 14 games.

Kubitz was named a five-time MVFC Honor Roll and two-time MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award. He attended Dubuque High School, where Kubitz made 52 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and three sacks in 2018.
