The St. Louis Battlehawks released running back Jordan Waters on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page. Water signed with the Los Angeles Rams on the same day.
Jordan Waters is six foot and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Fairmont, North Carolina, was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Draft.
The Los Angeles Rams signed Waters as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2025. In 2025, he had 10 carries for 63 yards, one rushing touchdown, and one tackle (1 assist) in three preseason games. The Rams released him on August 26, 2025.
Collegiately, Waters spent five seasons at Duke (2019-23) with 333 carries for 1,690 yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, 32 catches for 314 yards, and one touchdown in 47 games for the Blue Devils. In 2023, he was named Third Team All-ACC after finishing the season with a career-high 153 carries for 819 yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, and nine catches for 139 yards.
Then, he transferred to North Carolina State University in 2024 with 95 carries for 470 yards, four rushing touchdowns, 15 catches for 167 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 assist) in 12 games for the Wolfpack.
