The Edmonton Elks signed defensive back Jeremiah Walker on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Jeremiah Walker is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. A native of Houston, Texas, Walker signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2025. In 2025, he made four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Bears released him on August 24, 2025.

Collegiately, Walker spent five seasons at Stephen F. Austin (2020-24) with 188 tackles (112 solos, 76 assists), five tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions for 69 yards, one touchdown, 25 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and seven kick returns for 127 yards in 54 games for the Lumberjacks.

In 2022, he was named Second Team All-WAC after finishing the season with 34 tackles (19 solos, 15 assists), one tackle for loss, and nine pass breakups in 11 games. In 2023, he had a career-high 59 tackles (29 solos, 30 assists), one tackle for loss, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 11 games. In his final collegiate season, he made 27 tackles (17 solos, 10 assists), five pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 10 games.
