The D.C. Defenders signed offensive lineman LaColby Tucker on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
LaColby Tucker is six foot eight and weighs 315 pounds. A native of Sulphur, Louisiana, Tucker re-signed with the Gunslingers for the 2025 season. In 2025, he played six games. San Antonio averaged 36.1 points per game, 228.75 yards per game, 165.6 passing yards per game, 63.2 rushing yards per game, and 76 touchdowns.
Tucker attended training camp with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023. The Falcons signed McFarland as a free agent on August 7, 2023. The Michigan Panthers signed Tucker on February 7, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2024.
The San Antonio Gunslingers signed Tucker for the 2024 season. In 2024, he played 11 games. San Antonio averaged 87.9 points per game, 255.3 yards per game, 309.3 passing yards per game, 99.2 rushing yards per game, and 124 touchdowns.
Collegiately, Tucker spent two seasons at Gardner City Community College (2017-18), playing 22 games on the offensive line for the Broncbusters. In 2018, Gardner City averaged 382.8 yards per game, 88.1 passing yards per game, 294.7 rushing yards per game, and 43 touchdowns.
He was named an All-American and an All-Conference selection. Tucker was ranked as the No. 12 offensive tackle in the nation as a junior college player and ranked 97th in the top 100 according to ESPN rankings. Then, he transferred to Missouri Southern State, playing one game in the Spring 2020-21 season for the Lions.
