The Columbus Aviators signed kicker Ryan Coe and punter Jake Camarda on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Ryan Coe is six foot three and weighs 225 pounds. A native of McDonald, Pennsylvania, Coe attended the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie minicamp in 2025 and signed with them as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025.
In 2025, he made one field goal for 36 yards, 1 of 2 extra points (50%), and four kickoffs for 245 yards (61.2 AVG) with a long of 62 yards in one preseason game. The Buccaneers released him on August 12, 2025. Coe is a kicking coach for Ave Maria University.
Collegiately, Coe spent three seasons at Delaware (2020-21), making 38 of 51 field goals (74.5%) with a long of 53 yards, 47 of 47 extra points, 172 kickoffs for 10,142 yards (59.0 AVG), 80 touchbacks, and five tackles (5 solos) in 36 games for the Fightin’ Blue Hens. He was named Second Team All-CAA in the 2020-21 season and Third Team All-CAA in 2021.
Next, he transferred to Cincinnati in 2022, making 19 of 23 field goals (82.6%) with a long of 52 yards, making 44 of 44 extra points, 77 kickoffs for 4,892 yards (63.5 AVG) with a long of 65 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in 12 games for the Bearcats.
Then, he transferred to North Carolina in 2023, making 3 of 4 field goals (75%) with a long of 75 yards, making 8 of 8 extra points, 12 kickoffs for 768 yards (64%) with a long of 68 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in two games for the Tar Heels.
Coe concluded his collegiate career at California in 2024, making 14 of 22 field goals (63.6%) with a long of 54 yards, making 16 of 16 extra points, 70 kickoffs for 4,525 yards (64.6 AVG) with a long of 72 yards, and 50 touchbacks in 13 games for the Golden Bears.
Jake Camarda is six foot one and weighs 193 pounds. The 26-year-old from Norcross, Georgia, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round (133rd pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
He played three seasons in Tampa Bay, punting the ball 169 times for 8,302 yards (49.1 AVG), with a long of 74 yards, 19 touchbacks, 53 from inside the 20-yard line, 180 kickoffs for 11,277 yards (63 AVG), and 107 touchbacks in 38 games. The Buffalo Bills signed Camarda on January 7, 2025. The Bills released him on July 22, 2025.
Collegiately, Camarda spent four seasons at Georgia (2018-21), punt the ball 187 times for 8,561 yards (45.8 AVG), with a long of 68 yards, 29 touchbacks, 57 fair catches, 70 from inside the 20-yard line, 67 from 50-plus yards, one carry for six yards, 143 kickoffs for 8,850 yards, (61.9 AVG), 107 touchbacks, and one tackle (1 solo) in 53 games for the Bulldogs.
Camarda was named a two-time First Team All-SEC (2020-21), Third Team All-American in 2020, SEC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2020, and a CFP Playoff National Champion in 2021.
