The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed running back Joseph “J.J.” Taylor, wide receiver Dorian Singer, and linebacker Micah Cretsinger on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Joseph “J.J.” Taylor is five foot six and weighs 185 pounds. The 28-year-old from Corona, California, signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2020. He spent three seasons in New England with 52 carries for 156 yards, two rushing touchdowns, six catches for 20 yards, five kick returns for 112 yards, and one punt return for 12 yards in 12 games.

The Houston Texans signed Taylor to the practice squad on November 1, 2023. They re-signed him on January 22, 2024. In 2024, he had 10 carries for 44 yards, two catches for no yards, and one kick return for 11 yards in five games. In 2025, he had six carries for 20 yards, four catches for nine yards, and one punt return for three yards in two preseason games. The Texans released him on August 19, 2025.

Collegiately, Taylor spent four seasons at Arizona (2016-19) with 587 carries for 3,263 yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 62 catches for 487 yards, two touchdowns, 41 kick returns for 988 yards, one touchdown, three punt returns for 26 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 40 games for the Wildcats. He was named the Pac-12 Co-Offensive Freshman of the Year in 2017 and First Team All-Pac 12 in 2018.

Dorian Singer is six foot and weighs 181 pounds. The 23-year-old from Saint Paul, Minnesota, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made seven catches for 59 yards, one carry for -2 yards, two kick returns for 52 yards, and one punt return for two yards in three preseason games. The Jaguars released him on August 29, 2025.

Collegiately, Singer spent two seasons at Arizona (2021-22) with 84 catches for 1,406 yards, six touchdowns, three punt returns for 32 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 17 games for the Wildcats. In 2022, he was named Second Team All-Pac 12 and First Team All-Pac 12 by the Associated Press after finishing the season with a career-high 66 catches for 1,105 yards, six touchdowns, three punt returns for 32 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 12 games.

Next, he transferred to USC in 2023 with 24 catches for 289 yards, and three touchdowns in 12 games for the Trojans. Then, he transferred to Utah in 2024 with 53 catches for 702 yards, one touchdown, and eight punt returns for 45 yards in 12 games for the Utes.

Micah Cretsinger is six foot two and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Jackson, Michigan, attended the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie minicamp in 2025. The Ottawa Redblacks signed Cretsinger on May 18, 2025. In 2025, Cretsinger attended training camp and was released on June 1, 2025.

Collegiately, Cretsinger played four seasons at Saginaw Valley State University (2021-24) with 271 tackles (147 solos, 124 assists), 32.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 10 interceptions for 256 yards, five touchdowns, 10 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown in 44 games for the Cardinals.

In 2024, he made 82 tackles (46 solos, 36 assists), 11 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception for 21 yards, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown in 11 games.

He was named a two-time First Team All-GLIAC (2023-24), two-time NCAA DII CAA All-Region (2023-24), GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, First Team All-American by AFCA and AP in 2023, First Team Elite 100 by D2football.com in 2024, and a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award, which recognizes the top small college defensive player in the country in NCAA D-II, NCAA D-III, and NAIA.
