The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed wide receiver Keaton Bruggeling and signed wide receiver Xavier Malone on Monday.

Keaton Bruggeling is six foot three and weighs 205 pounds. The 27-year-old from St. Catharines, Ontario, signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on February 14, 2025. In 2025, he made seven catches for 63 yards in nine games.

The Ottawa Redblacks drafted Bruggeling in the third round (22nd pick) of the 2022 CFL Draft. In 2022, he made five catches for 44 yards in two games. In 2023, he made one catch for 16 yards and one touchdown in one game. In 2024, he made two catches for 23 yards in 13 games.

Collegiately, Bruggeling played two seasons at Carleton University (2019, 2021) with 25 catches for 290 yards, three touchdowns, and three carries for seven yards in 14 games for the Ravens.

Xavier Malone is five foot seven and weighs 182 pounds. The 25-year-old from Mound Bayou, Mississippi, signed with the Michigan Panthers on November 21, 2024. In 2025, he made one catch for 24 yards, 10 punt returns for 148 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in six games.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Malone as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made four catches for 83 yards in three preseason games and was placed on the practice squad. The Falcons released him on October 10, 2023.

The Toronto Argonauts signed Malone on December 19, 2023. In 2024, he appeared in one preseason game against the Montreal Alouettes with one punt return for three yards. The Argonauts released him on August 28, 2024.

Collegiately, Malone played two seasons at Northeast Mississippi Community College (2018-19) with 40 catches for 693 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games for the Tigers.

Then, Malone transferred to Henderson State University (2021-22) with 135 catches for 2,352 yards, 18 touchdowns, 11 carries for 86 yards, one touchdown, and ten kick returns for 208 yards in 22 games for the Reddies. He was named Second Team All-GAC.
