The Edmonton Elks placed running back Tanner Green on the retired list on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Tanner Green is six foot three and weighs 235 pounds. The 32-year-old from Lacombe, Alberta, made five catches for 56 yards, one tackle, and six tackles on special teams in 12 games in 2025.

The Edmonton Elks drafted Green in the fourth round (32nd pick) of the 2018 CFL Draft. In 2024, he made two tackles on special teams in eight games. In seven seasons with Edmonton, Green has made 14 catches for 149 yards, two touchdowns, 68 tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 78 games.

Collegiately, Green played two seasons at Concordia University (2016-17) with six carries for 11 yards and 1 touchdown in 12 games for the Stingers.
