The Orlando Storm signed wide receiver K.J. Hamler on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.

K.J. Hamler is five foot eight and weighs 178 pounds. The 26-year-old from Pontiac, Michigan, was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round (46th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in Denver with 42 catches for 620 yards, three touchdowns, 11 carries for 63 yards, two kick returns for 42 yards, and three punt returns for six yards in 23 games.

The Broncos released him on July 31, 2023. Hamler also had stints with the Indianapolis Colts and the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills signed Hamler on January 20, 2024. In 2024, he made five catches for 29 yards, three carries for 21 yards, one rushing touchdown, two kick returns for 21 yards, and one punt return for 15 yards in three preseason games.

He spent the 2024 season on and off the practice squad. The Bills re-signed him on January 27, 2025. In 2025, he made five catches for 79 yards, one touchdown, one carry for 15 yards, and three kick returns for 76 yards in three preseason games. The Bills released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Hamler spent three seasons at Penn State (2017-19) with 98 catches for 1,658 yards, 13 touchdowns, 17 carries for 87 yards, one rushing touchdown, 44 kick returns for 1,036 yards, and 37 punt returns for 222 yards in 26 games for the Nittany Lions. He was named Second Team All-Big 10 in 2019.
