The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed offensive lineman Quinton Barrow to a contract extension on Thursday.
Quinton Barrow is six foot six and weighs 331 pounds. The 25-year-old from Romulus, Michigan, started 18 games in 2025. Hamilton’s offense averaged 26.9 points per game, 376.4 net offense per game, 297.4 passing yards per game, 92.3 rushing yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 27 sacks, finishing the season with an 11-7 record.
Barrow attended the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamp in 2023. Barrow was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the second round (14th pick) of the 2023 USFL College Draft.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Barrow on March 6, 2024. In 2024, Barrow played seven games. Hamilton averaged 27.5 points per game, 406.1 net offense per game, 86.6 rushing yards per game, 332.1 passing yards per game, and allowed 30 sacks, finishing 7-11 for the season.
Collegiately, Barrow played five seasons at Grand Valley State University (2018-22), playing left tackle in 36 games for the Lakers. In 2022, Barrow helped the Lakers lead the GLIAC in first downs (288), rushing offense (228.7), scoring offense (37.9), time of possession (32:13), total offense (449.7), red zone offense (.927), and team passing efficiency (163.04).
Grand Valley State scored 40 or more points seven times in 2022 on its way to winning the GLIAC Championship and advanced to the NCAA DII Super Regional 3 Championship game. Barrow was selected to play in the 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl.
Barrow was named the GLIAC Offensive Lineman of the Year, First Team All-American by the Associated Press, and First Team All-GLIAC. He was a two-time First Team All-GLIAC and two-time GVSU Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2019 and 2021.
