The St. Louis Battlehawks released wide receiver Taylor Morin and signed defensive back Mac McCain III on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Taylor Morin is five foot ten and weighs 186 pounds. The 25-year-old from Centreville, Virginia, was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Morin as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2025. In 2025, Morin made five catches for 46 yards in three preseason games. The Eagles released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Morin spent six seasons at Wake Forest (2019-24) with 227 catches for 2,974 yards, 21 touchdowns, five carries for 17 yards, 10 kick returns for 236 yards, 76 punt returns for 809 yards, one touchdown, and six tackles (6 solos) in 61 games for the Demon Deacons. He was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2024, a three-time ACC All-Academic Team, and the winner of the Jim Tatum Award in 2024.

Mac McCain III is six foot and weighs 185 pounds. The 27-year-old from Greensboro, North Carolina, signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on June 4, 2025. McCain III did not get drafted in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The Denver Broncos signed McCain III as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. He also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, San Antonio Brahmas, and the New Orleans Saints.

McCain III made 12 tackles (10 solos, 2 assists) and one pass breakup in six preseason games. He played two regular-season games for the Eagles in 2021 with three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists).

Collegiately, McCain III played three seasons at North Carolina A&T (2017-19) with 113 tackles (66 solos, 26 assists), eight interceptions, three touchdowns, 28 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 29 games for the Aggies. He was named a two-time First Team All-MEAC, Second Team All-MEAC, and All-American from Hero Sports, AP, Phil Steele, and BoxToRow.
