The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed defensive back Kerfalla Exume to a contract extension on Wednesday.
Kerfalla Exume is five foot nine and weighs 195 pounds. The 31-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on February 18, 2025. In 2025, he made four tackles, eight tackles on special teams, and one forced fumble in 18 games, plus the Western Final and the Grey Cup.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Exume in the eighth round (70th pick) in the 2019 CFL Draft. In his rookie season, Exume made 25 tackles in 18 games for the Blue Bombers when they won the 2019 Grey Cup.
The Montreal Alouettes signed Exume on February 10, 2021. In 2021, He played two seasons in Montreal with three tackles and 21 tackles on special teams in 32 games. The Alouettes released him on June 30, 2023. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed Exume on July 5, 2023. In 2023, he made two tackles and 17 tackles on special teams in 14 games.
The Toronto Argonauts signed Exume on February 13, 2024. In 2024, he made eight tackles on special teams in 12 games, helping the Argonauts win the 111th Grey Cup.
Collegiately, Exume played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2015-18) with 29 tackles (23 solos, 6 assists), two interceptions, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 23 games for the Carabins.
