The Ottawa Redblacks signed defensive back Jeremy Lucien on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Jeremy Lucien is six foot one and weighs 199 pounds. The 25-year-old from Moore Township, Pennsylvania, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on January 22, 2025. In 2025, Lucien made one tackle and one tackle on special teams in two preseason games. The Stampeders released him on June 1, 2025.

The Baltimore Ravens signed Lucien as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. In 2023, he made 17 tackles (13 solos, 4 assists) and two pass breakups in three preseason games. He spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. The Ravens released him on January 16, 2024.

Collegiately, Lucien played three seasons at UConn (2018, 2021) with 57 tackles (38 solos, 19 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions, nine pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 29 games for the Huskies. Then, he transferred to Vanderbilt in 2022 with 48 tackles (33 solos, 15 assists), two tackles for loss, and five pass breakups in 12 games for the Commodores.
