The St. Louis Battlehawks signed offensive lineman Ilm Manning and linebackers Michael Barrett and Daniel Morrison, and released linebacker Mike Rose and defensive back Myles Jones on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Ilm Manning is six foot two and weighs 294 pounds. The 26-year-old from Glendale, Arizona, signed with the B.C. Lions on May 21, 2025. In 2025, Manning played guard in five games. B.C.’s offense averaged 29.8 points per game, 430.2 net offense per game, 113.4 rushing yards per game, 325.4 passing yards per game, 59 touchdowns, and allowed 20 sacks. The Lions released him on October 1, 2025.

The San Francisco 49ers signed Manning as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he appeared in three preseason games. The 49ers released him on August 29, 2023. The Arizona Cardinals acquired Manning off waivers from the 49ers on August 30, 2023.

The Cardinals released him on October 2, 2023, and he re-signed with San Francisco on October 4, 2023. Later in the season, the Carolina Panthers signed Manning off of San Francisco’s practice squad on December 28, 2023. The Panthers released him on June 5, 2024.

The Seattle Seahawks signed Manning on July 24, 2024. In 2024, he played two preseason games, and the Seahawks released him on August 27, 2024. The Birmingham Stallions signed Manning on December 3, 2024. They released him on March 10, 2025.

Collegiately, Manning played five seasons at Hawaii (2018-22), playing left tackle in 62 games for the Rainbow Warriors. In 2022, Hawaii’s offense averaged 19.77 points per game, 137.2 rushing yards per game, 205.54 passing yards per game, 342.8 total yards per game, and 30 touchdowns.

Michael Barrett is five foot eleven and weighs 230 pounds. The 26-year-old from Valdosta, Georgia, was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (240th pick) of the 2024 NFL Draft. In 2024, he made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) in three preseason games. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on August 22, 2024. The Seahawks released him on September 10, 2024.

He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers. The Las Vegas Raiders signed Barrett on May 21, 2025. In 2025, he made seven tackles (2 solos, 5 assists) and half a sack in three preseason games. The Raiders released him on August 25, 2025.

Collegiately, Barrett played five seasons at Michigan (2019-23) with 208 tackles (116 solos, 92 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two interceptions for 52 yards, one touchdown, six pass breakups, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two carries for 17 yards, completed one pass for 25 yards, and five kick returns for 122 yards in 61 games for the Wolverines.

He was named Third Team All-Big Ten and All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. He was a recipient of the team’s Roger Zatkoff Award and helped Michigan win the 2024 CFP National Championship.

Daniel Morrison is six foot two and weighs 275 pounds. A native of Roughedge, North Carolina, spent five seasons at Wingate University (2020-24) with 128 tackles (47 solos, 81 assists), 28.5 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, one interception for two yards, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 45 games for the Bulldogs.

IN 2024, he had a career-high 46 tackles (13 solos, 33 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick in 11 games.

Mike Rose is six foot four and weighs 243 pounds. The 25-year-old from Brecksville, Ohio, re-signed with the Battlehawks on January 7, 2025. In 2025, he made 49 tackles (24 solos, 25 assists), three tackles for loss, half a sack, and one forced fumble in 10 games. In the UFL playoffs, Rose made seven tackles (2 solos, 5 assists). The Battlehawks drafted Rose in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed Rose as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2022. In 2022, Rose made five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Chiefs released Rose on August 27, 2022.

Then, the St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Rose in the ninth round (70th pick) in Phase 3 of the 2022 XFL Draft. In 2023, Rose made 35 tackles (15 solos, 20 assists), four tackles for loss, and one quarterback hit in eight games, of which two were starts.

The Battlehawks released Rose on August 2, 2023, and signed with the Miami Dolphins on August 3, 2023. Rose played two preseason games with six tackles (2 solo, 4 assists) before the Dolphins released him on August 24, 2023.

Rose re-signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on December 20, 2023. In 2024, Rose made 45 tackles (25 solos, 20 assists), two tackles for loss, two interceptions for 35 yards, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in seven games.

The Battlehawks released Rose on August 5, 2024, and he signed with the New Orleans Saints on August 6, 2024. Rose played three preseason games making eight tackles (6 solos, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Saints released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Rose played four seasons at Iowa State (2018-21) with 321 tackles (170 solos, 151 assists), 41 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, six interceptions for 14 yards, 14 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown in 49 games for the Cyclones.

Rose was named a two-time First Team All-Big 12 (2020-21), Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2020, First Team All-American by Phil Steele and The Athletic in 2020, and Second Team All-American by the AP and Sporting News in 2020.

Myles Jones is six foot three and weighs 190 pounds. The 27-year-old from Magnolia, Texas, was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks in the 2026 UFL Draft.

The New York Jets signed Jones as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024. An injury prevented him from playing in the preseason, and he was released on August 14, 2024. The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Jones in the 10th round (77th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft.

In 2025, Jones made 14 tackles (8 solos, 6 assists), two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in nine games. In the UFL playoffs, he made one tackle (1 solo), one interception for 24 yards, and two pass breakups.

Collegiately, Jones played six seasons at Texas A&M (2017-22) with 124 tackles (90 solo, 34 assists), six tackles for loss, four interceptions for 33 yards, 33 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 49 games for the Aggies. He was a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection (2018, 2020 & 2021).

Then, Jones transferred to Duke in 2023 with seven tackles (4 solo, 3 assists), half a tackle for loss, two interceptions for eight yards, and one forced fumble in four games for the Blue Devils.
