Birmingham Stallions sign TE Tyler Davis, release QB Jaren Hall

The Birmingham Stallions signed tight end Tyler Davis and released quarterback Jaren Hall on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Tyler Davis is six foot four and weighs 252 pounds. The 28-year-old from North Bellmore, New York, was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round (206th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the Green Bay Packers, the Indianapolis Colts, and the New England Patriots. Davis made eight catches for 61 yards in 39 career NFL games.

Collegiately, Davis spent four seasons at the University of Connecticut (2015-18) with 47 catches for 500 yards, seven touchdowns, completed 3 of 4 passes (75%) for 58 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 35 games for the Huskies.

Then, he transferred to Georgia Tech in 2019 with 17 catches for 148 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 12 games for the Yellow Jackets.

Jaren Hall is six foot and weighs 207 pounds. The 27-year-old from Spanish Fork, Utah, was allocated to the Birmingham Stallions in the 2026 UFL Quarterback Draft.

The Minnesota Vikings drafted Hall in the fifth round (164th pick) of the 2023 NFL Draft. In 2023, he completed 26 of 48 passes (54.2%) for 264 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and eight carries for 35 yards in three preseason games.

In the regular season, Hall completed 13 of 20 passes (65%) for 168 yards, one interception, and two carries for six yards in three games. In 2024, Hall completed 28 of 46 passes (60.9%) for 339 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, and two carries for 11 yards in three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 29, 2024. The Seattle Seahawks signed Hall to the practice squad on September 2, 2024. They released him on April 29, 2025.

Collegiately, Hall spent five seasons at BYU (2018-22), completing 468 of 718 passes (65.2%) for 6,174 yards, 52 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 181 carries for 800 yards, nine rushing touchdowns, four catches for 41 yards, and one touchdown in 31 games for the Cougars.

Hall was named the Independent Offensive Player of the Year, Independent Quarterback of the Year, First Team All-Independent by College Football Network (2022), Phil Steele All-Independent First Team (2021, 2022), and Pro Football Network Independent Quarterback of the Year (2021).
