The Calgary Stampeders re-signed defensive back Derrick Moncrief to a one-year contract and signed running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams, defensive lineman Tre’Mon Morris-Brash, and defensive back Kam Alexander on Monday.

Derrick Moncrief is six foot one and weighs 213 pounds. The 32-year-old Prattville, Alabama, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on February 11, 2025. In 2025, he made 67 tackles, two interceptions, one touchdown, and one forced fumble in 18 games.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Moncrief on June 3, 2017. Moncrief played three seasons with 126 tackles, six tackles on special teams, four sacks, five interceptions, and one forced fumble in 35 games. He was named a CFL West All-Star and a CFL All-Star in 2019.

After Saskatchewan, Moncrief had stints with the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams. On September 7, 2021, Moncrief returned to the CFL, signing with the Edmonton Elks. He made 23 tackles, one tackle on special teams, and four sacks in nine games.

Then, Moncrief returned to Saskatchewan on February 8, 2022. In 2022, he made 49 tackles, one tackle on special teams, and four interceptions in 17 games. The following year, Moncrief made 50 tackles and one tackle on special teams in 14 games.

In his second stint in Saskatchewan (2022-23), Moncrief made 99 tackles, two tackles on special teams, and four interceptions in 31 games. He was named a CFL West All-Star in 2022. In 2023, he made 50 tackles and one tackle on special teams in 14 games.

The Edmonton Elks signed Moncrief on July 7, 2024. In 2024, he made 50 tackles, three sacks, and one interception in 14 games.

Collegiately, Moncrief played two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (2012-13) with 67 tackles (47 solos, 20 assists), one forced fumble, three interceptions, and seven pass breakups in 19 games for the Bulldogs.

Next, Moncrief transferred to Auburn in 2014 with 27 tackles (14 solos, 13 assists), one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 13 games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to Oklahoma State in 2016 with 16 tackles (9 solo, 7 assists), one interception, and two pass breakups in 13 games for the Cowboys.

Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams is five foot ten and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Warren, Ohio, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Lynch-Adams had 14 carries for 36 yards and two catches for 10 yards in three preseason games. The Panthers released him on August 25, 2025.

Collegiately, Lynch-Adams began his collegiate career at Rutgers (2019-20) with 83 carries for 320 yards, two rushing touchdowns, six catches for 120 yards, and one touchdown in 18 games for the Scarlet Knights.

Next, he transferred to the University of Massachusetts (2021-23) with 359 carries for 1,568 yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, 29 catches for 168 yards, four kick returns for 49 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 30 games for the Minutemen. He was named First Team All-Independent by Phil Steele and the College Football Network.

Then, he transferred to Michigan State in 2024 with 133 carries for 649 yards, two rushing touchdowns, 15 catches for 85 yards, and four kick returns for 39 yards in 12 games for the Spartans.

Tre’Mon Morris-Brash is six foot two and weighs 245 pounds. The 25-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he made seven tackles (4 solos, 3 assists), one sack, one interception for 25 yards, one touchdown, and three pass breakups in three preseason games.

In 2025, he made 11 tackles (3 solos, 8 assists), two sacks, and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Morris-Brash spent five seasons at the University of Central Florida (2019-23) with 182 tackles (114 solos, 68 assists), 58.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, one interception, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries for 159 yards, and one touchdown in 61 games for the Knights. He was named First Team All-AAC in 2022 and First Team All-Big 12 in 2023.

Kam Alexander is five foot eleven and weighs 183 pounds. The 25-year-old from New Iberia, Louisiana, signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on July 21, 2025. The Seahawks released him on August 12, 2025, and he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 18, 2025. He played two preseason games, one for each team, with one tackle (1 solo). The Steelers released him on August 22, 2025.

Collegiately, Alexander spent four seasons at Sam Houston State (2019-22) with 52 tackles (41 solos, 11 assists), six tackles for loss, three interceptions for 46 yards, 19 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one blocked kick, and 25 kick returns for 503 yards in 32 games for the Bearkats.

Next, he transferred to the University of Texas-San Antonio in 2023 with 34 tackles (32 solos, 2 assists), two tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions for 72 yards, and 15 pass breakups in 13 games for the Roadrunners.

Then, he transferred to Oregon in 2024 with four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist), one interception, and one pass breakup in 12 games for the Ducks.
