The B.C. Lions signed linebacker Corey Flagg Jr. and defensive back Joshua Pickett on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Corey Flagg Jr. is five foot ten and weighs 233 pounds. The 24-year-old from Houston, Texas, attended the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamps in 2025.

Collegiately, Flagg Jr. spent four seasons at Miami (FL) (2020-23) with 179 tackles (93 solos, 86 assists), 23.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one interception for nine yards, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 43 games for the Hurricanes.

Then, he transferred to Missouri in 2024 with a career-high 81 tackles (37 solos, 44 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception for 80 yards, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in 13 games for the Tigers.

Joshua Pickett is six foot and weighs 188 pounds. A native of Demorest, Georgia, Pickett signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, Pickett made six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist), one interception, and one pass breakup in two preseason games. The Broncos released him on August 25, 2025.

Collegiately, Pickett spent four seasons at Duke (2021-24) with 101 tackles (66 solos, 35 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions for 34 yards, 18 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 49 games. In 2022, he had a career-high 41 tackles (25 solos, 16 assists), one tackle for loss, one sack, and seven pass breakups in 13 games.

In his final collegiate season, Pickett made 38 tackles (26 solos, 12 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 37 yards, eight pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games. He was named a three-time Academic All-ACC selection (2022-24) and a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree (2022-23).
