The Orlando Storm signed running back Elijah Dotson and defensive tackle Fabien Lovett on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Elijah Dotson is five foot nine and weighs 202 pounds. The 27-year-old from Sacramento, California, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, Dotson had 18 carries for 146 yards, two rushing touchdowns, one catch for nine yards, and two kick returns for 43 yards in three preseason games. In the regular-season, Dotson had four carries for six yards and two catches for 13 yards in four games.
In 2024, Dotson had 11 carries for 38 yards, four catches for 14 yards, and one kick return for 14 yards in three preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 27, 2024. The Atlanta Falcons signed Dotson to the practice squad on December 3, 2024. In 2025, Dotson had 20 carries for 77 yards and three catches for 21 yards in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 23, 2025.
Collegiately, Dotson spent five seasons at Sacramento State (2017-21) with 451 carries for 2,466 yards, 22 rushing touchdowns, 110 catches for 1,109 yards, 19 kick returns for 403 yards, one punt return for one yard, and one tackle (1 assist) in 38 games for the Hornets. He was named a two-time First Team All-Big Sky Conference and Second Team All-American by HERO Sports in 2019.
Then, he transferred to North Colorado in 2022 with 208 carries for 933 yards, six rushing touchdowns, 48 catches for 300 yards, two touchdowns, 13 kick returns for 252 yards, one punt return for 82 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 11 games for the Bears.
Fabien Lovett is six foot four and weighs 316 pounds. The 26-year-old from Olive Branch, Mississippi, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2024. In 2024, Lovett made one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. In 2025, Lovett made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in three preseason games. The Chiefs released him on August 26, 2025.
The New England Patriots signed Lovett to the practice squad on August 28, 2025. They released him on January 13, 2025.
Collegiately, Lovett spent two seasons at Mississippi State University (2018-19) with 19 tackles (6 solos, 13 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in 15 games for the Bulldogs. Then, he transferred to Florida State University (2020-23) with 74 tackles (31 solos, 43 assists), 12 tackles for loss, five sacks, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 39 games for the Seminoles. He was a two-time All-ACC Honorable Mention.
