The Dallas Renegades signed wide receiver Drake Stoops on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page. He is the son of former Oklahoma and Dallas Renegades coach Bob Stoops.

Drake Stoops is five foot ten and weighs 189 pounds. The 26-year-old from Norman, Oklahoma, signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2024. In 2024, he made six catches for 55 yards and one kick return for 30 yards in three preseason games. He was released on August 27, 2024, and was signed to the practice squad on August 28, 2024.

The Rams re-signed Stoops on January 21, 2025. In 2025, he made eight catches for 74 yards, one touchdown, one carry for -4 yards, and two punt returns for 10 yards in three preseason games. The Rams released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Stoops spent six seasons at Oklahoma (2018-23) with 164 catches for 1,876 yards, 17 touchdowns, 12 carries for 56 yards, completed one pass for 13 yards, and five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) in 47 games for the Sooners. He was named First Team All-Big 12 in 2023 after finishing the season with 84 catches for 962 yards, 10 touchdowns, four carries for eight yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 13 games.
