The Toronto Argonauts signed running back Peyton Logan and defensive linemen DeWayne Hendrix and Soane Toia on Monday. The Argonauts also released defensive backs Branden Dozier and Darrius Bratton.

Peyton Logan is five foot eight and weighs 189 pounds. The 27-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on February 11, 2025. In 2025, Logan had one carry for -2 yards, two catches for 10 yards, nine kick returns for 186 yards, and seven punt returns for 61 yards in three games. He suffered a thigh injury in training camp and missed the majority of the season. The Blue Bombers released him on January 15, 2026.

The Calgary Stampeders signed Logan on May 4, 2022. In 2022, he had 58 carries for 365 yards, three touchdowns, 18 catches for 192 yards, 25 kick returns for 612 yards, one touchdown, and 74 punt returns for 787 yards in 16 games.

In 2023, he had 17 carries for 169 yards, one touchdown, one catch for 17 yards, 16 kick returns for 333 yards, and 22 punt returns for 175 yards in six games.

In 2024, Logan had 61 carries for 355 yards, one touchdown, 23 catches for 121 yards, 28 kick returns for 635 yards, 40 punt returns for 539 yards, one touchdown, and three tackles in 14 games.

Collegiately, Logan played five seasons at the University of Tennessee at Martin (2017-21) with 416 carries for 2,605 yards, 12 touchdowns, 86 catches for 724 yards, four touchdowns, 42 kick returns for 1,067 yards, two touchdowns, two punt returns for five yards, and three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in 51 games for the Skyhawks.

He was named First Team All-OVC in 2021, Second Team All-OVC in 2019, two-time First Team All-OVC by Phil Steele, and three-time Second Team All-OVC by Phil Steele.

DeWayne Hendrix is six foot four and weighs 270 pounds. The 29-year-old from O’Fallon, Illinois, signed with the B.C. Lions on February 2, 2025. In 2025, he made 21 tackles and four sacks in 13 games. The Lions released him on January 15, 2026.

The Miami Dolphins signed Hendrix as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. In 2019, Hendrix made nine tackles (6 solos, 3 assists) and three sacks in four preseason games. The Dolphins released him on October 7, 2019.

He also spent time with the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2020, he played for the St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL) with seven tackles (3 solos, 4 assists) and one sack in five games before the league ceased operations due to the pandemic.

The Toronto Argonauts signed Hendrix as a free agent on February 12, 2021. In 2023, made 23 tackles, six sacks, and one forced fumble in 15 games. Hendrix signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on February 14, 2024. In 2024, he made 17 tackles, four sacks, and one forced fumble in 16 games. The Tiger-Cats released Hendrix on January 30, 2025.

Collegiately, Hendrix played one season at Tennessee in 2014 with two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in seven games for the Volunteers. Then, he transferred to Pittsburgh (2016-18) with 50 tackles (30 solos, 20 assists), 10 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 25 games for the Panthers.

Soane Toia is six foot and weighs 278 pounds. A native of Nuku’alosa, Tonga, Toia was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round (18th pick) of the 2025 CFL Global Draft.

Collegiately, Toia played five seasons at San Jose State (2020-24) with 153 tackles (75 solos, 78 assists), 26.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks in 57 games for the Spartans. In 2024, he made 59 tackles (24 solos, 35 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks in 13 games for the San Jose State Spartans. He was named First Team All-Mountain West in 2024.

Branden Dozier is five foot ten and weighs 200 pounds. The 32-year-old from Topeka, Kansas, signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on April 23, 2025. In 2025, Dozier made 13 tackles and one tackle on special teams in four games. The Ticats released him on August 5, 2025. The Toronto Argonauts signed Dozier on August 11, 2025. He played five games for Toronto with 32 tackles, four tackles on special teams, and five sacks.

Dozier attended a rookie minicamp with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016. Next, he signed with the Montreal Alouettes on November 29, 2017. He played two seasons in Montreal with 150 tackles, 33 tackles on special teams, two sacks, five interceptions, and two forced fumbles in 36 games for the Alouettes.

Next, he signed with the B.C. Lions on June 25, 2019. In 2019, he made 70 tackles, seven tackles on special teams, one interception, and one forced fumble in 16 games. Then, the Calgary Stampeders signed Dozier on February 11, 2020.

In 2023, Dozier made 63 tackles, seven tackles on special teams, two sacks, and one touchdown in 17 games. In four seasons with the Stampeders, Dozier made 183 tackles, 34 tackles on special teams, three sacks, two interceptions, and one touchdown in 52 games.

The Stampeders re-signed Dozier on February 4, 2024. In 2024, he made 51 tackles and three tackles on special teams in 14 games. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.

Collegiately, Dozier played two seasons at Butler Community College (2012-13) with 90 tackles (62 solos, 28 assists), four tackles for loss, half a sack, one forced fumble, one interception, and one pass breakup in 22 games for the Grizzlies. He was named First Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Then, he transferred to Charlotte (2014-15) with 135 tackles (82 solos, 53 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions for 38 yards, one touchdown, 15 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 22 games for the 49ers.

Darrius Bratton is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 28-year-old from Roanoke, Virginia, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 11, 2025. In 2025, Bratton made 37 tackles in 16 games.

Bratton attended the New Orleans Rookie minicamp in 2023. Next, the Edmonton Elks signed Bratton on May 17, 2023. In 2023, he made 44 tackles and one interception in 18 games. In 2024, he made 44 tackles and four interceptions in 17 games.

Collegiately, Bratton played five seasons at Virginia (2017-22) with 77 tackles (54 solos, 23 assists), one tackle for loss, half a sack, 14 pass breakups, and one punt return for no yards in 52 games, of which 14 were starts were the Cavaliers. In 2022, he made 22 tackles (10 solos, 12 assists), half a tackle for loss, and half a sack in nine games for the Cavaliers, of which three were starts.
