The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed defensive back TaMuarion Wilson on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
TaMuarion Wilson is six foot two and weighs 215 pounds. A native of Bryant, Arkansas, Wilson attended the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Wilson spent four seasons at the University of Central Arkansas (2020-23) with 355 tackles (233 solos, 122 assists), 27 tackles for loss, three sacks, seven interceptions for 94 yards, 22 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 54 games for the Bears.
In 2022, he had a career-high 104 tackles (69 solos, 35 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions for 27 yards, and two pass breakups in 11 games. He was named First Team All-ASUN and Sophomore All-American by HERO Sports.
A year later, he was named First Team All-UAC and Fourth Team All-American by Phil Steele after finishing the season with 64 tackles (42 solos, 22 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and eight pass breakups in 11 games.
He concluded his collegiate career in 2024 with 90 tackles (58 solos, 32 assists), 11.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions for 39 yards, and eight pass breakups in 12 games as he was named First Team All-UAC for the second consecutive season.
Wilson attended Bryant High School, where he was a Hooten’s Magazine Top 25 AR prospect. He was named to the 7A Central All-Conference Team and AA 7A All-State Team in 2018 and 2019. He was named to the All-Arkansas Team by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. In 2019, he made 41 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, and nine pass breakups.
