The Calgary Stampeders re-signed defensive lineman Charles Wiley to a contract extension on Monday.
Charles Wiley is six foot two and weighs 274 pounds. The 27-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, in 2025 made 17 tackles and five sacks in 15 games.
The Baltimore Ravens signed Wiley as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022. In 2022, he made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) and 1.5 sacks in three preseason games. The Ravens released him on August 30, 2022. He signed with the New York Giants on September 1, 2022. The Giants released him on September 27, 2022.
The Houston Roughnecks (XFL) signed Wiley on February 1, 2023. In 2023, he made six tackles (1 solo, 5 assists) and one sack in seven games. The Roughnecks released him on August 6, 2023. The Cleveland Browns signed Wiley on August 7, 2023. Wiley made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) and three quarterback hits in two preseason games. The Browns released him on August 24, 2023.
