The Birmingham Stallions selected quarterbacks Matt Corral, Taylor Elgersma, and Jaren Hall in the 2026 Quarterback Draft, and took offensive lineman Mason Brooks, defensive end Desmond Little, and linebacker Kobe Jones in the Regional College Allocation on Monday.

Matt Corral is six foot two and weighs 205 pounds. The 26-year-old from Ventura, California, re-signed with the Birmingham Stallions on December 26, 2024.

In 2025, Corral completed 51 of 95 passes (53.7%) for 648 yards, four touchdowns, four interceptions, and 17 carries for 91 yards in three games before he suffered the injury against the Memphis Showboats in Week 5. Corral signed with the Michigan Panthers on October 3, 2025.

Corral missed the rest of the regular season but returned for the playoffs. He completed 12 of 25 passes (48%) for 147 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and three carries for 18 yards.

The Carolina Panthers drafted Corral in the third round (94th pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft. In 2023, Corral completed 28 of 47 passes (59.6%) for 249 yards, one interception, and four carries for 47 yards in three preseason games.

The Panthers released him on August 30, 2023. The New England Patriots acquired Corral via waivers on August 31, 2023. The Patriots released Corral on September 18, 2023.

Taylor Elgersma is six foot six and weighs 235 pounds. The 23-year-old from London, Ontario, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the second round (18th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers signed Elgersma as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2025. In 2025, he completed 16 of 23 passes (69.6%) for 166 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions, and one carry for four yards in three preseason games. The Packers released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Elgersma played four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier (2021-24) completing 793 of 1,121 passes (71%) for 10,547 yards, 78 touchdowns, 33 interceptions, 127 carries for 605 yards, 18 touchdowns, one catch for seven yards, one kick return for 17 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 41 games for the Golden Hawks.

Elgersma was named a two-time First Team OUA All-Canadian, two-time U-Sports Second Team All-Canadian, two-time OUA Most Valuable Player, a Yates Cup champion, Uteck Bowl champion, Yates Cup MVP, Uteck Bowl Nike Offensive Player of the Game, and a winner of the 2024 Hec Crighton Award, which recognizes a player as U-Sports football’s Most Outstanding Player.

Jaren Hall is six foot and weighs 207 pounds. The 27-year-old from Spanish Fork, Utah, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round (164th pick) of the 2023 NFL Draft. In 2023, he completed 26 of 48 passes (54.2%) for 264 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and eight carries for 35 yards in three preseason games.

In the regular season, Hall completed 13 of 20 passes (65%) for 168 yards, one interception, and two carries for six yards in three games. In 2024, Hall completed 28 of 46 passes (60.9%) for 339 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions, and two carries for 11 yards in three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 29, 2024. The Seattle Seahawks signed Hall to the practice squad on September 2, 2024. They released him on April 29, 2025.

Collegiately, Hall spent five seasons at BYU (2018-22), completing 468 of 718 passes (65.2%) for 6,174 yards, 52 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 181 carries for 800 yards, nine rushing touchdowns, four catches for 41 yards, and one touchdown in 31 games for the Cougars.

Hall was named the Independent Offensive Player of the Year, Independent Quarterback of the Year, First Team All-Independent by College Football Network (2022), Phil Steele All-Independent First Team (2021, 2022), and Pro Football Network Independent Quarterback of the Year (2021).

Mason Brooks is six foot six and weighs 315 pounds. The 26-year-old from Cedar Park, Texas, signed with the D.C. Defenders on February 17, 2025. In 2025, Brooks started nine games.

D.C. averaged 22.5 points per game, 98.9 rushing yards per game, 252.1 passing yards per game, 351 yards per game, and 27 touchdowns. The Defenders went on to win their first UFL Championship over the Michigan Panthers 58-34.

The Defenders released him on August 18, 2025, and he signed with the Miami Dolphins on August 19, 2025. Brooks played in one preseason game. The Dolphins released him on August 26, 2025.

The Washington Commanders signed Brooks as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. He also spent time with the Carolina Panthers and the Indianapolis Colts. Brooks played six preseason games.

Collegiately, Brooks played four seasons at Western Kentucky (2018-21), playing left tackle and right tackle in 44 games for the Hilltoppers. In 2021, Western Kentucky averaged 44.21 points per game, 102.5 rushing yards per game, 433.71 passing yards per game, 536.2 total yards per game, 79 touchdowns, and allowed 17 sacks, finishing 9-5 for the season, winning the Conference USA East Division and the Boca Raton Bowl. He was named First Team All-Conference USA in 2021.

Then, he transferred to Ole Miss in 2022, playing right guard in 13 games for the Rebels. In 2022, Ole Miss averaged 33.46 points per game, 256.6 rushing yards per game, 239.77 passing yards per game, 496.4 total yards per game, 56 touchdowns, and allowed 16 sacks, finishing 8-5 for the season, losing to Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl.

Desmond Little is six foot five and weighs 240 pounds. The 21-year-old from Prichard, Alabama, signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. In 2025, he made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists) and one sack in three preseason games. The Colts released him on August 26, 2025.

Collegiately, Little spent three seasons at LSU (2020-22) with 16 tackles (8 solos, 8 assists), three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in 14 games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (2023-24) with 70 tackles (32 solos, 38 assists), 17.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, five pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 23 games for the Blazers. In 2024, he was named First Team All-AAC after finishing the season with 41 tackles (17 solos, 24 assists), 10 tackles for loss, six sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 12 games.

Kobe Jones is six foot three and weighs 255 pounds. The 27-year-old from Starkville, Mississippi, signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on October 7, 2024. In 2025, Jones made 27 tackles (12 solos, 15 assists), six tackles for loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 10 games.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Jones as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. He also had stints with the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers.

Jones appeared in two NFL regular-season games with both Green Bay and Carolina. In the 2023 preseason in Carolina, Jones made 8 tackles (1 solo, 7 assists) and one pass breakup in three games. Then, Jones signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 13, 2024.

Jones appeared in two preseason games for the Ticats in 2024, recording no stats. In the regular season, Jones made two tackles, one tackle on special teams, and one sack in six games. The Ticats released Jones on August 13, 2024.

The New England Patriots signed Jones on August 20, 2024. He played one preseason game against the Washington Commanders, making one tackle (1 assist) and one quarterback hit. The Patriots released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Jones played four seasons at Mississippi State (2017-20) with 100 tackles (41 solos, 59 assists), 21.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 49 games for the Bulldogs. Jones was a two-time Wuerffel Trophy Candidate in 2019 and 2020.
