The Hamilton Tiger-Cats released wide receiver Isaiah Wooden and punter Nikolas Constantinou on Wednesday to pursue NFL opportunities according to the CFL Transactions page.
Isaiah Wooden is five foot nine and weighs 170 pounds. The 25-year-old from San Diego, California, made one catch for 10 yards, 42 kick returns for 1,105 yards, two touchdowns, 38 punt returns for 570 yards, one touchdown, four missed field goal returns for 97 yards, and two tackles on special teams in 14 games.
The Atlanta Falcons signed Wooden as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. The Falcons released him on July 30, 2024.
The Los Angeles Chargers signed Wooden on August 12, 2024. He played two preseason games with one catch for two yards. The Chargers released him on August 17, 2024. The B.C. Lions signed Wooden on September 10, 2024. He was released by the Lions on September 30, 2024.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Wooden on October 1, 2024. In 2024, he made one catch for 12 yards and three kick returns for 80 yards in one game.
Collegiately, Wooden played one season at Dixie State University (Now Utah Tech University) in 2018 with seven catches for 177 yards, two touchdowns, seven carries for 61 yards, one touchdown, eight kick returns for 288 yards, and one touchdown in nine games for the Trailblazers.

Nikolas Constantinou is six foot three and weighs 225 pounds. The 26-year-old from Melbourne, Australia, in 2025 punted the ball 90 times for 4,343 yards (48.3 AVG) with a long of 84 yards, and made one extra point in 18 games.
The Denver Broncos signed Constantinou as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2024. The Broncos released him on May 14, 2024. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats drafted Constantinou in the first round (5th pick) of the 2024 CFL Global Draft and signed Constantinou on May 27, 2024. In 2024, Constantinou punted the ball 102 times for 4,803 yards (47.1 AVG) with a long of 74 yards in 18 games.
Collegiately, Constantinou played five seasons at Texas A&M (2019-23), punting the ball 191 times for 8,174 yards (42.8 AVG) with a long of 65 yards, six touchbacks, 83 fair catches, 77 from inside the 20-yard line, and 39 from 50-plus yards in 48 games for the Aggies. In 2023, Constantinou punted the ball 41 times for 1,693 yards (41.3 AVG) with a long of 54 yards, one touchback, 17 fair catches, 17 from inside the 20-yard line, and nine from 50-plus yards in 13 games for Texas A&M. He was a 2023 Campbell Trophy Semifinalist.
