Calgary Stampeders linebacker Jacob Roberts has reportedly signed a three-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday according to Dan Ralph.

Jacob Roberts is six foot one and weighs 233 pounds. The 24-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2025 made 93 tackles, nine tackles on special teams, four sacks, and one forced fumble in 18 games.

Roberts attended the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints rookie minicamps in 2024. The Calgary Stampeders signed Roberts on August 24. 2024. In 2024, he made four tackles and ten tackles on special teams in six games.

Collegiately, Roberts played four seasons at North Carolina A&T (2019-22) with 218 tackles (119 solos, 99 assists), 29.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 5 interceptions for 102 yards, 2 touchdowns, 10 pass breakups, one fumble recovery, 6 blocked kicks, and three punt returns for 46 yards in 32 games for the Aggies.
