The B.C. Lions re-signed defensive back Garry Peters and signed linebacker Ralen Goforth on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Garry Peters is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 34-year-old from Conyers, Georgia, re-signed with the Lions on January 13, 2025. In 2025, he made 49 tackles, three interceptions, and one forced fumble in 16 games. In the Grey Cup playoffs, Peters made six tackles in two games.

The Carolina Panthers signed Peters as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2015. In 2015, he attended training camp and was released on July 30, 2015. The Edmonton Eskimos signed Peters on May 29, 2016. He played two seasons in Edmonton with 59 tackles and eight tackles on special teams in 17 games.

The B.C. Lions signed Peters on February 13, 2018. In 2024, Peters made 55 tackles, one sack, one interception, and one forced fumble in 18 games. In seven seasons, Peters made 381 tackles, 11 tackles on special teams, two sacks, 19 interceptions, and four forced fumbles in 119 games. He was named a two-time CFL West All-Star (2022-23) and a two-time CFL All-Star (2022-23).

Collegiately, Peters played four seasons at Clemson (2011-14) with 106 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 45 games for the Tigers. In 2012, He was named First-Team All-ACC as a senior in 2014.

Ralen Goforth is six foot one and weighs 227 pounds. The 25-year-old from Long Beach, California, signed with the Michigan Panthers on January 14, 2025. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025. The D.C. Defenders signed Goforth on April 21, 2025. He did not play for the Defenders and was released on May 7, 2025.

The Green Bay Packers signed Goforth as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024. In 2024, he made 15 tackles (8 solos, 7 assists) in three preseason games. The Packers released him on November 5, 2024.

Collegiately, Goforth played three seasons at USC (2019-21) with 106 tackles (41 solos, 65 assists), four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Trojans.

Then, he transferred to Washington in 2022 with 37 tackles (20 solos, 17 assists), four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 15 games for the Huskies.
