The Texas Longhorns (10-3) took on the Michigan Wolverines (9-4) on Wednesday afternoon in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The game was tied 17-17 at halftime. In the second half, Texas scored 24 points, while Michigan only scored 10 points. The Longhorns defeated the Wolverines 41-27.

Texas had 456 yards on offense (221 yards passing, 235 yards rushing), 24 first downs, and the team was penalized 12 times for 103 yards. Quarterback Arch Manning completed 21 of 34 passes (61.8%) for 221 yards, two touchdowns, nine carries for 155 yards, and two rushing touchdowns.
