The Edmonton Elks re-signed running back Antario Brown on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Antario Brown is five foot ten and weighs 221 pounds. The 23-year-old from Savannah, Georgia, signed with the Calgary Stampeders practice squad on October 7, 2025. The Stampeders released him on October 10, 2025.
Collegiately, Brown played four seasons at Northern Illinois (2021-24) with 518 carries for 3,090 yards, 26 rushing touchdowns, 21 catches for 263 yards, and two touchdowns in 40 games for the Huskies.
In 2023, he had 212 carries for 1,296 yards, 10 rushing touchdowns, 12 catches for 52 yards, and one touchdown in 13 games. He was named First Team All-MAC. He became the ninth player in school history to surpass 3,000 career rushing yards.
