The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed wide receiver Sameul Emilus to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season on Wednesday.

Samuel Emilus is six foot one and weighs 200 pounds. The 28-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, made 37 catches for 588 yards, two touchdowns, and two tackles in seven games. In the 112th Grey Cup, Emilus made 10 catches for 108 yards to help the Roughriders win the Grey Cup over the Montreal Alouettes. His 10 catches set a Saskatchewan Grey Cup record, and he was named the Grey Cup Most Outstanding Canadian.
