The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed defensive lineman Caleb Sanders to a one-year contract extension through the 2026 season on Monday.

Caleb Sanders is six foot one and weighs 270 pounds. The 25-year-old from Glenwood, Iowa, made 13 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two sacks in 16 games. In the Grey Cup playoffs, Sanders made two tackles and one pass breakup in two games, helping the Roughriders win the 112th Grey Cup championship over the Montreal Alouettes.

Sanders attended the New York Giants rookie minicamp in 2023. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on August 19, 2023. In 2023, Sanders made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in one preseason game. The Eagles released him on August 29, 2023.
