The Calgary Stampeders signed kicker Dawson Hodge on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Dawson Hodge is five foot eleven and weighs 180 pounds. The 24-year-old from Coquitlam, British Columbia, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on May 5, 2025. They released him on May 14, 2025.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Hodge on May 26, 2025. In 2025, he made one field goal for 31 yards, and three kickoffs for 192 yards (64 AVG) in one preseason game. The Roughriders released him on May 31, 2025. He returned to Wilfrid Laurier for his final collegiate season.
Collegiately, Hodge played five seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University (2021-2025) punting the ball 302 times for 12,500 yards (41.4 AVG), with a long of 94 yards, eight touchbacks, 72 from inside the 20-yard line, and 53 for 50-plus yards.
He also had 258 kickoffs for 15,037 yards (58.3 AVG), eight touchbacks, made 76 of 103 field goals (73.8%), with a long of 49 yards, four carries for 14 yards, and 21 tackles (17 solos, 4 assists), one pass breakup, and two forced fumbles in 51 games for the Golden Hawks.

Hodge was named First Team OUA All-Star, Second Team All-Canadian, and OUA All-Star in 2022, and a five-time U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian.
